Twenty-Four-Years-of-Shall-We-Dance!

26 Jul Twenty Four Years of Shall We Dance!

Did you know that this is the 24th production of Durban’s home-grown smash-hit dance show Shall We Dance? This year’s show promises more of the same fabulous dancing action for which we’re known and loved, the return of some old favourites after a sabbatical, plus some exciting new attractions! Read on to find out more…

Shall We Dance

The Dancing Danes

For the 2016 season of Shall We Dance, we welcome back to the stage popular Latin dancers, the brothers Darren and Ryan Hammond, with their respective partners Milla Lykke and Angelique Allison.

Flying in from Denmark, we have a return visit from the Danish ballroom champions Nicolai Bouet and Anna Shagalina – a real international treat for local dance lovers!

Also included in this year’s line-up, Bronwyn Parker’s energetic Highway Celtic dancers – back after a five-year absence.

Keeping us on our toes

East Coast Radio’s Damon Beard will once again be the Master of Ceremonies – keeping all our performers in check in his own indomitable style!

Tickets are selling fast (have you got yours yet?) – as we look forward to our quarter-century production in 2017, we’d like to express our gratitude to the public for supporting the show, sustaining its progress and, quite literally, keeping us directors, choreographers and dancers on our toes!

We look forward to seeing you at the performances!

Shall We Dance runs from 9th to the 17th September at The Opera Theatre, The Playhouse, Durban.
